COLTON

For use on mechanically fed planing and moulding machines for higher production rates and reduced downtime.

All blades are simultaneously and equally clamped hydraulically with one pressure application, which also centralises the complete cutterhead as with a standard hydraulic tool.

Clamping of knives is achieved by hydraulic pressure activating a series of pistons under the clamping wedges, there are no time consuming screws used for clamping. The blades remain clamped after pressure is released due to the self locking nature of the clamping wedge. This ensures no movement of blades between the toolroom and machine.

Hydraulically self centering tools with simultaneous hydraulic clamping of knives.

These tools are manufactured from high tensile steel for durability and strength, and are designed to accept serrated back blades.
