Specification

Manufactured from high tensile aluminium alloy for lightness, strength and ease of handling, with integral steel hydraulic bushings for durability. Steel thread inserts for durability and wear resistance. Fitted with hardened wedges and designed to accept 3mm thick planer blades as standard.

Application

For reducing the weight of large diameter and/or long cutterheads, in order to promote safety. Typically a tool made in steel weighing 60 Kg may be reduced to under 30 Kg in light alloy.

For use on mechanically fed machines when machining both hardwoods and softwoods.
